CIPP INVERSION LINER SX1

Resin Compatibility & Processing Flexibility

The SANIKOM SX1 LINER PP is engineered for maximum flexibility in CIPP applications, supporting a wide range of industry-standard resin systems.

Compatible Resin Systems

  • Epoxy (EP) – fully compatible, recommended for high-performance applications
  • Unsaturated Polyester (UP) – compatibility test required before use
  • Vinyl Ester (VE) – compatibility test required before use
  • Polyurethane (PU) – suitable depending on application conditions

This broad compatibility allows contractors to adapt the liner to specific project demands, whether prioritizing mechanical strength, chemical resistance, or curing speed.

Optimized for Reliable Impregnation

The liner features a single-sided polypropylene (PP) coating (≈ 276 g/m² ±10%), combined with a polyester needle felt structure, enabling:

  • Fast and uniform resin absorption
  • Controlled resin distribution
  • Reduced risk of dry spots
  • Consistent curing results

With a material density of approximately 0.92 g/cm³, the coating ensures a balanced combination of flexibility and sealing performance.

Flexible Curing Options

The SX1 LINER PP supports multiple curing methods, giving installers full control over the process:

  • Ambient curing – for smaller or less complex installations
  • Hot water curing – up to 90°C
  • Steam curing – up to 100°C

This versatility allows adaptation to different site conditions and project timelines.

Designed for Installation Performance

  • Suitable for pipe diameters DN 100 – DN 200
  • Installation lengths up to 100 meters
  • Handles bends up to 45° with ≤ 5% wrinkling
  • No dimensional change after curing
  • Recommended storage and handling temperature: 10–25°C

The liner is slightly undersized (~10%) to ensure proper fit and smooth inversion during installation.

Resin Consumption Efficiency

The optimized structure ensures predictable resin usage:

  • From approx. 1.04 kg/m (DN100)
  • Up to approx. 3.11 kg/m (DN200 / 4.5 mm thickness)

This helps improve cost control and material planning on site.

Built for Consistent Results

With a cured wall thickness of up to 5 mm, the SX1 LINER PP forms a robust, durable inner pipe structure that improves hydraulic performance while extending the service life of existing pipelines.

Manufactured according to DIN ISO 9001, it guarantees consistent quality and reliability across all installations.
